A £400,000 refurbishment programme during the winter of 2001/2002
has provided Maxstoke Park Golf Club with a warm, welcoming and air-conditioned
clubhouse. There is a relaxed, friendly atmosphere whilst at the same
time maintaining the traditions of a club that was established in 1898. |
|
| The lounge bar is a relaxed friendly place where
members and visitors can discuss their golf whilst admiring the fine view
over the 18th green and course. The restaurant area is air-conditioned and
provides the members, visitors and guests with a first class dining experience.
The stewardess, Mrs Sheila Cardwell and her staff offer a complete range of meals from appetising bar snacks, sumptuous specials to a full a la carte menu for special occasions and club functions.

The locker rooms are fully fitted with new modern lockers, showers and air conditioning. A 19th bar provides a warm atmosphere where golfers may eat a wide variety of bar snacks after a round of golf whilst satellite television provides coverage of all the major sporting events.
